Blue Skies
Blue
skies blue far as the eye can see
Blue with white paint
Skies that beckon thee
A blue that never changes
Blue for all that be
Blue by the light
Star-studded at night
A comforting blue to me.
Blue colors blue all around the world
Like the blue sea
Blue reflecting off pearls
Watch the blue sky
Watch our dreams spin and twirl
Blue to be touched
But, alas, never too much
The blue by which the whole world uncurls.
Blue like the eyes of Zeus' steed
The blue that he loves
The blue that he needs
Blue to be left untamed
Blue like the fire of his speed
Blue dancing to our song
Blue where we belong
Wild blue yonder indeed.
