ghost of your voice rings in my ears
A silvery tune so eerily beautiful
The sound of the sirens hidden in your melody.
A memory of your skin lingers in my mind
The shine of your hair reflected in my eyes
As I watch your lips speak the words of a song long gone.
Like a rainbow that comes after the rain
Like a shooting star that lights up the sky
You are that breathtaking sight that lasts for an eternal moment.
